By using Portlio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Use of Service

To use Portlio’s core features, you must authorize access to your GitHub account. This access is used solely to fetch repository and profile data required to build and update your portfolio website.

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Attempt to disrupt, damage, or exploit the service
  • Misrepresent ownership of GitHub repositories or content

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Ensuring your GitHub integration remains authorized
  • Providing accurate billing and account information

Portlio is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Paid subscriptions are processed securely via Razorpay
  • By subscribing, you agree to pay the listed fees for your selected plan
  • Subscription fees may change with prior notice
  • Payments are non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy

Failure to complete payment may result in service suspension or downgrade.

4. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Temporary downtime may occur due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Hosting provider issues
  • GitHub API limitations
  • Third-party payment provider issues

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your GitHub content and personal portfolio materials.

Portlio retains ownership of:

  • Platform software
  • Templates
  • Branding
  • Proprietary automation systems

You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Portlio is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss
  • Revenue loss
  • Downtime
  • Third-party service interruptions
  • GitHub API failures
  • Payment gateway failures

Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these terms
  • Abuse platform resources
  • Engage in fraudulent activity

Users may cancel subscriptions at any time.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Portlio after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
